We have so many aesthetics in the Colorado area for family sessions, but my favorite will always be an Estes Park mountain family session! Of course the color in the fall is just killer and the sun setting over the golden trees just makes it all pop that much more. You will never hear me turn down an Estes Park session unless I physically can’t get me or my car there! It’s worth the cold and frozen fingertips even in the winter I promise.
I got a bit worried as I watched the rain clouds hover on the drive over and a quick 3-minute literal downpour as I drove to our meeting point – ack! But as luck had it, the clouds parted, the sun came through, and with some photoshop voodoo, we even got a bit of color on those beloved trees! I loved shooting there, and it makes me even more excited to head to Colorado this summer for our move! This family of four was happy to step out of San Diego for a different vibe! I also love new suggestions from my clients to hopefully make their session dreams a reality. And I’ll especially never say no to a Mountain session to break up all my beach time!
