Where We Live – Newport, Rhode Island Family Photographer
It’s been a long while since I’ve taken part in this blog circle of talented photographers where we highlight the places we live. In the fall I can honestly say it was busyness, but now it’s just plain laziness! I’m back this month and hope to join the rest of this winter/spring as well!
Right now “Where We Live” is extremely cold and snowy so what better way to show off the prettier side of that than through some selective photos. I can honestly say I’m done with it and would love nothing more than to show budding trees and flowers next month, but I fear there will still be snow and ice on the ground…
This is Touro Park in Newport, Rhode Island. I love the stone building in the middle of the park and would absolutely love to head over there for an afternoon, especially at sunset before we leave. I like the look of it in the snow too – from afar though!
It’s been so cold here recently since our first blizzard in January that the benches that are covered with people in the spring, summer and fall are now completely frozen over! What a sight to see and something I only thought would exist in the very frozen areas of the world.
I absolutely love Trinity Church at any time of year. This was taken at sunset after the first blizzard and I was lucky to be there on an evening that had some beautiful colors to reflect off of the church. Definitely a winter wonderland at Trinity!
Now head on over to Rebecca’s blog to see her photos for this month!
