I haven't been so great at the blogging recently. Who knew 2 kids in elementary school would make my life more busy than less busy??!! Plus, I haven't a lot of scrappy things to share recently, but soon! I have some exciting news and projects to share in the next couple of weeks! Instead, your stuck with me just making a random blogging list!
*Thanksgiving seems to have come out of nowhere this year. Seriously. Yesterday I realized it was only a week away and I could really tell when I went to the commissary (military grocery) and there were approximately 826 people who were also there. Mental note: Don't go back between now and Christmas. Hope my family can live on beans and frozen waffles for a month.
*Currently looking at flights to possibly go to Indiana after Christmas for a few days. My Mama turns 60 on Christmas Day and I can't make it to the surprise party they are giving her, but thinking of planning my own surprise visit. Hoping it all works out and there isn't a crazy snow storm over the holiday!
*Speaking of my mom, I made this layout, that I can actually share, about her last week using one of the lovely Studio Calico kits about some of the sage advice she has given me. The picture was taken a year or so ago and I love it!
*I'm loving the design team lists that Keshet made this week and last. It's something not many people talk about very open and honestly and I think it's great she put it out there. So true on all accounts.
*I really, really want to participate in Ali's December Daily this year. I have some things laid out, and hoping over Thanksgiving I can get it put together.
*Fighting with the lighting in my house when photographing layouts. I actually have good light and a room with lots of windows, but my pictures of projects either come out with lots of red tones or lots of blue tones. You know what will happen? By the time I figure it out we'll be up for moving again!
*You know that Paris trip I was so excited about? Wanna guess what might happen? I'll give you 2 guesses and me DEFINITELY getting to go doesn't count. Keep your fingers crossed on Friday because that's when we get the FINAL word.
*Ella had 50s day today and I was lucky enough to find the CUTEST poodle skirt/dress on clearance at Gymboree for her to wear. My husband was given strict instruction to get a photo since I came to work early and hoping he did so I can share it! Life is so fun when you're in kindergarten!
So how's that for a boring blog post?! Thanks for reading if you made it all the way down!
