The Perfect Shade of Red – Newport, Rhode Island Family Photographer
I was contacted by Andrea in the middle of one of our many snow storms here in Newport for a newborn family session once their new bundle of joy arrived. Luckily Andrea was able to make it through the snow storms and Miss R joined them on a snowy, but not stormy day in February.
I’ve done a newborn photo shoot prior to this, and it was what I thought I would enjoy – posed, curled up and in a bucket. I can say that after that I had newfound and utmost respect for full time newborn photographers! It’s not nearly as easy and breezy as one would think, but boy was my model one of the cutest there is! So when Andrea contacted me I made sure she was up for a lifestyle newborn session instead and lucky for me she was all over it!
Miss R was out like a light when I got there and ready for some photos! Riley, the furry daughter, was ready for her moment to shine as well. Andrea, TJ and their family are so laid back and I had such a great time hanging out and getting to know them on a cold Saturday morning.
Let’s try not to harbor too many hard feelings toward Andrea either. At just 3 weeks postpartum she looked AMAZING! I looked more like I had recently had a baby than she did! Seriously, she works hard to stay healthy and in shape and it definitely shows. She’s got this new mama to 2 thing down and makes it look easy.
Miss R and her big sister have the most amazing and perfect shade of red hair that there is. People pay big money for that shade of red hair and they come by it naturally! Andrea told me it comes from her side of the family so they have beautiful blonde hair to look forward to later!
Miss A is a big Curious George fan and shared some episodes with me during our session and even used some props to dress up George for me.
Thank you so much again Andrea, TJ and girls!
