The Perfect Combo – Stuttgart, Germany Family Photographer
**For those that are not aware yet, my family and I will be moving from Rhode Island to Stuttgart, Germany in 2 short months! Although I am still booking sessions in Newport through May, I will be changing the titling of my blog posts now in anticipation of our move**
Spring may officially be upon us, however, New England still can’t quite shake winter here in late April so I figured it’s the perfect time to blog about one of my super fun winter sessions in February.
I met Adrian right after she moved to Rhode Island and gave her a lift to a race here in Newport. I’m so glad we got to know each other and become friends because she and her family are so much fun and we may or may not have a little too much fun for wine club, um, I mean book club every month! She decided she wanted a snow session paired with some hot chocolate and I thought it was a perfect combo. Little did we know the amount of snow we would be getting throughout the winter and gave us plenty of opportunities.
We picked a day that there was still snow on the ground, but Mother Nature took it one step further and brought us a snow storm for our session. We took advantage with some sledding and snowball fights to boot.
And my absolute favorite photo from this winter’s sessions. I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted to do and so glad it turned out even better than I planned – love when that happens!
The above were actually part 2 to our session. I had gone to Adrian’s the week prior to capture some photos of her son and mother in law while she was visiting them. I love capturing these photos because military kids don’t get to see their grandparents often so these photos are priceless to all.
Thank you so much again Adrian and John! So happy we made these photos happen!
