I'm seriously speechless by all the kind comments and encouragement you all left on Wednesday for my guest design post. It really does mean so much and I'm so grateful to have such great support and cyber friends out there! My very supportive husband doesn't quite get it and it's nice to share it with those that do. So from the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!
Now onto a giveaway! I'm a daily reader of the brilliant Cathy Zielske's blog each day and if you head over there today and enter you could win one of the January kits from Scrapbooking From The Inside Out. Definitely go over and enter because this kit is full of Basic Grey Curio, Kaisercraft Secret Bird Society and 7 Gypsies Conservatory. You won't be disappointed!!
I know lots of people out there are doing some form of Project 365, Photo a Week and I saw that Lisa is doing a twist on the 52 Week project by taking a photo of the same area in her house each week-love that! I'm going the route of some others, like Elizabeth Dillow, and doing 12 on the 12th. Let's hope I don't forget! I would forget my head if it wasn't attached sometimes!
So, without further ado, because I know you are all on the edge of your seats, I present 12 on January 12th:
1. Snow today! We got less than an inch, but some iciness so a 2 hour delay for us. 2. I guess the big thing in 3rd grade right now is to get your hands on the Guiness Book of World Records. Maya's name was up so she strutted home with her book and settled in with it as soon as she woke up on Wednesday. 3. School delay + snow/ice on the ground = no running yet again. Blah. So Jillian and I are becoming better friends. 4. It's a miracle. They are playing. Together. Without fighting. Hallelujah! 5. Would you like it if your teacher looked like that?!! I asked if she had on leg warmers, but was told in a very "duh, mom" kind of way that those were her socks. 6. Ah, off to school and now some computer time. 7. We have all been sick. Either stomach flu or bronchitis so we are going through loads of cleaning supplies. 8. Does that photo look familiar? Yep, I used it on Monday, but guess what? Still a mess. It's clean now, but phew it took a while! 9. Kindergarten homework time. She LOVES homework! Would do pages and pages if I let her. 10. A real dinner. This isn't normal when Terry is away because anyone who knows me well knows that I hate cooking, well meal planning. Have to do it though! 11. It's my day off which means I get to dress down and wear my favorite jeans and favorite Keen shoes 12. And one of my favorite magazines came today! It's best enjoyed with a quiet house and a glass of wine!
Have a great weekend and for those who get the day off-enjoy your long weekend!
