We got our first snow in the DC area yesterday and the girls couldn't be more excited! We've been away from regular snow for 2 years and they were in heaven. School got out early and they raced home to go sledding!
Of course since we live in N. Virginia, that also means that school is cancelled for today. It gets cancelled for a few inches A LOT!! So we're taking advantage and doing crafts, eating pancakes and this afternoon venturing outside again. This time it will have to be without mom though. Mom can only take so much snow-I'm a warm weather kind of gal! Bring me a beach chair, drink with an umbrella and temps above 75 and I'm golden.
Snow day also means I get to catch up on my December Daily. I actually ventured into it this year, and I'm not horribly behind, a little, but not bad! My goal with this was 2 things. Of course primarily it was recording our December, the happenings, the feelings, etc. My 2nd goal was to use all "old" product. I have so much stuff sitting around and some of you savvy product people will recognize some very old Scenic Route, KI Memories and Basic Grey holiday papers! Yes, I still had those in my stash-unbelievable. I bought nothing new and tried to use up anything older than a 6-12 months (not to include punches and stamps!). Here it is so far:
And another giveaway for you today too! Hop on over to the Pebbles Blog for your chance to win some Pebbles goodies!
Have a great (snowy) weekend!
