Project 365 the Week of Ella – Newport, Rhode Island Family Photographer
This week was a wee bit easier with someone in our family turning double digits and jetting off for a weekend away. A definite must for me I have found is to at least get one photo in the morning. If I get one I prefer later in the day then even better, but not getting anxiety at 5 pm when it’s dark because I have no photo is key!

This photo is a little bittersweet. I normally take a photo during my run time because there is always something that catches my eye along the way. Especially now since I run by myself and not with friends. I loved the geese on the bay near our house and knew I wanted to snap a photo. Sadly, the next day I tore my calf muscle so my running days are over for a few weeks.
What do you do when it’s a cold morning and you have to wait for maintenance all the live long day?! You play with your food. Then you promptly injure yourself simply by walking on stairs.
Part of the reason for doing this project is documenting our everyday activities. This is her every single day after school. Coat remains on, straight to the kitchen for chocolate milk via a curly straw and Sponge Bob.
Another dusting of snow and even as Gimp Along Cassidy I had to head out for some photos. This is Trinity Church in Newport and it’s just beautiful with the snow.
We officially have no single digit family members anymore. She is not happy about being double digits, but was pumped to celebrate her big day at Great Wold Lodge with her good buddies! Love her spirit!
While we were swimming and splashing around, we got hit with a few inches of snow in Massachusetts. Little did we know that later that day we would get alerts on our phone that Snowmageddon was on it’s way to New England!
T minus 28 ish hours until Winter Storm Juno. I found in Okinawa that normally right before and right after a big storm there are amazing sunsets. Not so much in this case, but I loved the calmness before the big storm hits us!
