Project 365; The Habit – Newport, Rhode Island Family Photographer
It is said that a habit is formed within 21 days. I’m 39 days in and I have to say I believe a habit has been formed. Even the children help out on a daily basis and ask if I’ve gotten my photo for the day yet. That’s a win win for me since they normally run far, far away when the camera comes out!
More snow and another snow day. Thank goodness for new games at Christmas to keep us entertained while the snow falls and the winds howl outside. It can be said that Ella is quite the Pictionary champion!
I have a feeling this sign in our neighborhood will not be removed any time soon. A rather dreary sign, no?! It may or may not be June before all this snow and ice melt away.
Stuck inside with no human subjects to play with so I rooted around in Ella’s art set and went for a bit of color. She has been quite the artist recently and we find drawings scattered throughout the house.
All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware. – Martin Buber
I have been fortunate to find fellow wanderers at each duty station. Someone who doesn’t mind getting lost, who doesn’t need a plan when we set out and someone who finds the beauty and adventure right in front of us. My neighbor Trish also loves to travel, try new things and make the most of each duty station we are assigned. Now, if only we were stationed together longer, we could scour every area of Rhode Island!
A normal work day. I’m definitely an Apple convert and as a temporary New Englander also a drinker of coffee all day long!
Someone doesn’t realize that when I ask her to be my “test subject” before a shoot that I end up getting some of my favorite photos!
Terry has gotten Maya into a running program and so happy she’s sticking with it. She has never enjoyed running although she is built perfectly for it with those long legs! She is on a treadmill program and we’re hoping that once the weather warms up that we can get her outside with us doing some running in the fresh air.
