Project 365 – Playing Catch Up – Newport, Rhode Island Photographer
It’s been a while, but I’m still keeping up on the photo taking end, just not on the blogging and sharing end (for my own accountability!).
So here goes with 2 weeks worth…
I really, really hate taking “selfies”, but it was necessary this day for an updated photo for my gig at Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine. I think I need a round 2 – not happy with this one either!
When you work from home, girls are gone all day and it’s negative temps outside you turn to other subjects – the beloved bunny, SnowBall!
More snow overnight, but a bright sunny day to start off so I thought it was necessary to at least catch a non gray and gloomy day for once amongst the snow.
We know where were going now, but I was growing weary at this point waiting to find out where we might land for our next adventure. I found myself growing more anxious with each subzero day and every inch of snowfall.
No great explanation – circles of fruit on a wooden background is what the day called for today. I liked the color contrasts so I went with it!
I found these red velvet Oreos at my beloved Target and had to get a package! I love anything red velvet and these were just what I needed to get through another cold and dreary day.
These dads are awesome! Remember that photo I posted a couple of weeks ago? The dads got together to recreate it before 2 of the families left Newport and it was awesome! I nearly peed my pants laughing at them trying to fit them all in the back of the truck. Love that they made this happen!
Our little bay is literally frozen. Huge chunks of ice in salt water. It’s just crazy. Those black specks out there are geese just laying around and sleeping.
I have to give credit to the fantastic library we have here in our little city. I wasn’t expecting much, but they nearly always have what I’m looking for there and the staff are some of the nicest ever.
The boats are ready to get going again. Me too boats, me too.
What was expected to be 3-6″ turned into 12″+ that no one was expecting! This winter is neverending. What better way to get through it than a neighborhood snowball fight?!
Keys of light – mom of boredom…
Our good friends got a new puppy and we ventured up to see them all. Gus is so, so cute and adorable! And I remembered how difficult it is to take dog/puppy photos!
What is originally a puppy crate turns into a “home” for the resident 3 year old. I think it’s a good spot for him!
