Natural is the New Gorgeous – Stuttgart Germany Senior Photographer
I met Reagan and her family when we moved in just 1.5 years ago to beautiful Stuttgart Germany. She is a super smart, is never moving out her parents’ house, uber traveler and I mean this has the sincerest compliment – she beats to her own drum. and has zero $%& to give! I love that. She’s my kind of girl. She’s not influenced by what the crowd and majority are doing, which in this day and age I think is a huge success.
As cliche as it sounds, she is a very natural beauty. I wanted to try out a make up artist I had seen great work from and see how she could do with a more natural look. The result was amazing! She highlighted her gorgeous blue eyes and left her hair and the rest of her make up very subtle and natural.
Reagan is also a voracious reader and I’m so glad she brought her favorite with her so we could get a bit creative with her love of reading.
Somehow I vividly remember getting in their car and seeing the gorgeous brown hat and was hoping she would utilize it. We got out of the car and I asked her to bring it “just in case” we use it. And we used it! These are probably hands down my favorite from the evening.
I love so much doing shoots with seniors. It’s fun to get to know them beyond “where are you wanting to go to college” questions; seeing interactions with mom and dad and just having fun!
I had to tease her mother near the end of our session. I always tease another neighbor of ours about crying in front of me since I’m at a loss in these situation about how to react. I didn’t expect it at all from Vicky. Before I knew it I turn around and there are tears! Of couse I harassed her, but totally get it. There are those moments that you look at your child and all those memories of when they were little come flooding back and it literally seems like 10 minutes have passed and here they are graduating. Hurts the heart immensly.
As we were all packed up and ready to head out I turn around and see this and of course this is when I get all teary. A selfie with her beautiful mama. I love it!
Thank you so much Vicky, Reagan and Rod!
