Planned, coordinated and executed one heck of a music concert for our neighbors and friends. She was sad not to have a spring recital this year since her teacher doesn’t do them so upon her dad’s advice she forged ahead and put one together in the back yard. So proud of her and her determination!
(why yes, that is her dad in cargo shorts, shirt and tie. He dressed for the event!)
Was so pumped to have her art work featured in a Pacific schools art publication. She was one of 7 students from her school and was beside herself! She has been bitten by the running bug lately too and it’s awesome to watch her get into it. Next stop – a kids’ triathlon at the end of the month. Now, if I could get the ebbing and flowing of attitude in check then I’m golden with this one!
Even with all the stress and pressure of his job keeps us laughing and always looking around corners for the next scaring opportunity. I love that even in the “boss” position for the last 13 months that he still puts all of us first. So proud of how far he has come by maintaining this attitude.
Besides still being freakishly afraid of clowns (even nice Japanese clowns), I’ve become more of a taxi since school has let out then all of the school year combined! But I’m truly happy. I was just discussing this with one of my really good friends I’ve made here. The friends you make while being stationed overseas are your family and you become really close really quickly. I’ve made some of the most amazing friends and count my blessing each day.
On a side note – waiting like lots of people to hear about the Pebbles design team call, but I’m trying to be patient! In the meantime have you seen the new logo they launched yesterday?! Super cute!
Thanks for stopping by!
