Camera Toddler Hide and Seek – Newport, Rhode Island Family Photographer
I met Anna and her family at the Boyd’s Mill park on a beautiful day in October. I had only been to Boyd’s Mill briefly to check out the leaf color prior to our session, but it is such a tranquil little park with a great windmill as a backdrop. Their son was excited to be at the park with his pumpkins, but not so excited to see the strange lady with the big black camera!
Luckily a zoom lens was my friend while I stood back and let him explore all the sticks and leaves the park had to offer. His parents were also very prepared and brought lots of goodies from home that he was more interested in. These are my favorite kinds of sessions anyway – just sitting back and letting kids and families do their thing!
I can’t even tell you how excited I was that Anna and her husband brought a book because we put it to good use during our session. We found an bench that happened to be situated under the best tree in the park and a little magic happened! This is probably one of my very favorite photos from the fall.
And this one? Well, timing is of the essence when snapping away and so happy I captured this sweet photo.
Thank you again so much Anna and family for this awesome session! So happy to get to know you all briefly!
