Beautiful Downtown Family – Rhode Island Family Photographer
**No I have not moved to Rhode Island yet and still living in Okinawa for 3 more months. Changing the location in blog titles is helping to set me up for when DO move!**
I met Tara not long after I moved to Okinawa during a group run with some fabulous ladies. She is gorgeous, no nonsense and above all very caring. She works all day with 4 year olds, then makes time to get her 2 kids to their activities, work out with her work buddies and teach elementary school girls (mine included!) cheers for their football squad. Yep, makes me tired just thinking about doing all of that!
Tara has been a big cheerleader of mine since I opened my photography doors and I couldn’t be more grateful to her for that. A lot of times it’s the people you least expect the biggest support from that makes the biggest difference. I love her for that. I also appreciates when she keeps it real with me too – everyone needs people like that in their lives!
We hit the streets of Kokusai Street in Naha on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for our photoshoot looking for as much color as we could and definitely found it! I had had an idea of a photo I wanted to do with Tara because I thought she and her husband would be perfect for it. You know what? It turned out even better than I even expected it to!
Her kids were so awesome during the shoot too. They were willing to sit and stand where I told them and even had some of their own ideas of what they wanted to do for photos, which I always love! I was so appreciative that Q was willing to even be a little silly with me in front of a fun door on the street. You don’t find that often in middle school boys!
And when you’re in Okinawa you have to get the vending machine shot – it’s definitely a MUST!
Thank you so much Tara and family!
