A Fine Germany Welcome – Stuttgart Germany Family Photographer
I couldn’t think of a better way to start taking photos than with a gorgeous family, beautiful sun, the most gentlemen of boys and traditional German dress. My friend Heather was nice enough to send Allyson and her family to me for some family photos. Allyson mentioned wanting some photos in their lederhosen and drindle and of course I was since we were right at the start of fest season.
Let’s talk about what gentlemen her little boys are! They are hands down 2 of the sweetest boys I’ve met and I can tell they’ve been in front of the camera for mom a few times – they knew exactly what to do! It’s not every day that I get to go home with a bouquet full of flowers from a shoot. They were insistent on getting their mom and I as many as possible from our big open field.
I love a family that when I say “just relax and have fun” they do just that and a little bit forget that I’m there. There were some mean games of tag and tickle happening and lucky for us there was plenty of room to run around and have fun. This is exactly what I shoot for (pun intended) during a session. I like being able to give a few posed, “grandma wall worthy” shots, but my heart lies in the candid, having fun and enjoying time together shots. Those are my absolute favorite.
I also always, always insist on mom and dad only shots. It’s rare that they get more than just a snapshot together regularly, and I know I’m guilty of that in my own family, so it’s important to me to grab at least one of these for families. Besides, this is where their family started – they should be documented together as well.
I was fortunate to end with this handsome littlest family member. The sun, those amazing blue eyes and his farmer pose – perfect!
Thank you so much again Allyson and Keith!
