Natalie contacted me this past winter to look into maternity and newborn photos for their growing family. It’s not often I do both maternity AND newborn because let’s be honest, I move so dang much that I’m normally not around long enough. This time I was and so excited to do this double session of baby goodness!
We lucked out for the maternity session in March because, as you know, it can often times snow in APRIL here in Stuttgart, so March is always a crap shoot. We couldn’t have been granted a more beautiful day. Sunny, warmish and did I mention sunny??!!! The photo juju was behind us on this one.
Victor and Natalie showed up with their sweet and energetic dog Chica. She may or may not have stolen the show on both sessions. She loves to be in the mix of it all, but just full of kisses too.
I anxiously awaited the message that their newest bundle had arrived in April. I’ll be honest here. I wanted him/her to be born on the best day – the 18th. Missed it by 3 days! Natalie sent me photos and I was instantly enamored with him!
Seriously he is the sweetest and most chill baby I think I’ve ever met, especially for a first born! He snoozed and let mom and dad love on him the entire couple of hours I was there for the in home session. I probably commented too much on how sweet and perfect he was, but truly he was a newborn photographer’s dream!
Natalie asked if she should be worried and I immediately replied NO!! I encouraged her to soak it all up and enjoy his calm nature because you never know when that might come to a screeching halt.
I’m pretty sure Chica and her new brother will become fast friends. She was already pretty enamored with him too and ready for a play buddy I think.
I just saw Natalie and Victor with their sweet boy out of the blue last week and although he is growing like a virtual weed, she said he is still as calm and chill as he was 4 months ago. They are some very lucky parents! Already looking forward to his 1 year old shoot where he will likely be moving around everywhere and Chica may be running for her life – haha!
Thank you so much again Natalie and Victor!! So appreciative of you inviting me into your home for this momentous occasion!
